After a week on trial with Orlando City, defender Dionatan Teixeira reportedly will receive an offer to sign with the Lions.
Teixeira, 23, would be the first player exchange between Orlando and the English Premier League's Stoke City since the clubs announced an official partnership earlier this month.
The news first was reported by Orlando City's television partner WFTV via Twitter.
The Brazilian-born Slovak whose first name is pronounced "Jonathan," will have to wait until the MLS secondary transfer window opens July 4 to join the team. He will provide much-needed depth at centerback after Orlando City traded veteran Aurélien Collin to the New York Red Bulls at the end of April.
