MONTREAL — When Orlando City president Phil Rawlins announced the hire of Jason Kreis, he said the new coach was committed to the club's identity and style of play. That meant an offensive-focused strategy, up-tempo play and lots of goals.
The Lions had lost that identity at the time. They went scoreless in three of the four matches leading to Kreis' hire in July, recording two losses and two draws. And when they did score goals, they gave up just as many or more.
Kreis seemed like the shot of B12 fans hoped for in his first game, a 3-1 win over New England, but after that?
