Jason Kreis described Orlando City's progress in an upbeat tone, audibly pleased and enthusiastic.
“It’s been really, really good, really positive stuff,” the Lions’ head coach told the Orlando Sentinel of what he’s seen from players so far during the team’s 10-day preseason camp in Jacksonville. “The effort they’ve been putting in has been second to none. The commitment level, the competitiveness in training sessions I think has reached a new level, which is exactly what we wanted.”
Kreis went on to praise the team’s fitness level, something he criticized after he was hired in July, calling it “at a different level than it was last year.
