Orlando City and Pride players and staff will receive their first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine Monday at Exploria Stadium as eligibility opens across the state.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced last week all Floridians over the age of 16 will be eligible to receive the vaccine on Monday, April 5.
Orlando City partner Orlando Health will assist in the distribution of the vaccine for the club. Once employees receive their shots, eligible family members of players and staff will be provided with vaccinations at the stadium Tuesday.
This means — dependent upon which version of the vaccine they receive — club employees could be fully inoculated against coronavirus by mid-May.
