Orlando City president Phil Rawlins said there is no specific timeline to find a new head coach, but the club does have a short list of about three to four candidates it is considering.
Former coach Adrian Heath was fired Wednesday after the team showed a lack of passion in a series of poor performances.
Rawlins would not reveal the list of potential hires, but said there are some big names fans would recognize.
"There isn't a timeline. However, we do want to move quickly and want to make a decision as quickly as is practical and feasible," Rawlins told the Orlando Sentinel Thursday.
