Orlando City players training together at ESPN Wide World of Sports are focused on building up their fitness so they can bring intensity to their first MLS is Back Tournament match on July 8.
Coach Oscar Pareja dedicated the team’s preseason to developing elite fitness and endurance, at one point running players through three-a-day training sessions in Orlando and during a camp in Cancún, Mexico. Although strength and conditioning coach Fabian Bazan worked throughout the quarantine to keep players fit, the team naturally lost some of the endurance and fitness built during the first months of the year.
