Orlando City midfielder Harrison Heath will be traded to Atlanta United FC during a half-day trade window Sunday, sources confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel.
Heath, 20, the son of former Lions coach Adrian Heath, had a tough season on and off the field, fighting injury and dealing with his father’s departure. He was loaned to Orlando City B in USL for the season, but also played 223 minutes in three starts for Orlando City in MLS.
Heath reportedly will be traded for a future late-round draft pick, according to a tweet posted by FourFourTwo.
