Orlando City midfielder Cristian Higuita, the club’s all-time leader in MLS appearances with 94 in four seasons, is unsure of his future with the Lions.
Speaking before training Thursday morning, Higuita said coach James O’Connor said he wasn’t sure if he was going to be involved with the team’s plans for 2019.
“I can be realistic,” said Higuita, who is from Colombia and started his career with Deportivo Cali. “My final conversation with him, he told me he wasn’t sure if I was going to be involved. I worked hard and waited for a decision.”
