Orlando City looking for right fit in opening rounds of MLS SuperDraft

BALTIMORE — Orlando City arrived at the MLS SuperDraft last year with the No. 1 overall draft pick and overflowing optimism ahead of its first year in MLS.

The Lions turned that top pick in the 2015 MLS Rookie of the Year: Canadian forward Cyle Larin. They can only hope to find a player who makes half that impact in 2016.

A year has brought considerable change for Orlando City. The man in charge of the top pick in 2015, general manager Paul McDonough, is gone. The other man who had a heavy influence on last year's draft, Lions' coach Adrian Heath, remains.
