Orlando City loans Mason Stajduhar to NYCFC for tournament

Orlando City will loan goalkeeper Mason Stajduhar to New York City FC for the team’s upcoming run in the Concacaf Champions League tournament.

The keeper came up through the Lions academy, then signed to a first team homegrown contract in 2016. He has yet to make an appearance for the Lions, although he tallied 17 appearances while on loan for the Tulsa Roughnecks in 2019.

The Pigeons will restart tournament play against Liga MX side Tigres on Tuesday night at 10:30 p.m. ET. The game is the second leg between the two teams in the quarterfinals of the tournament and will be broadcast on Fox Sports 2 in English and TUDN in Spanish.
