Orlando City has sent nine players to the club’s United Soccer League side on season-long loans.
The announcement came Friday, a day before Orlando City B kicks off the 2017 USL season against the Tampa Bay Rowdies at Al Lang Stadium in St. Petersburg.
The Lions loaned the following players: goalkeeper Earl Edwards, Jr.; defenders Tommy Redding, Conor Donovan, Kevin Alston and Victor “PC” Giro; midfielders Richie Laryea, Danny Deakin and Pierre Da Silva; and forward Hadji Barry.
All of the loans include “Right of Recall,” which allows the players to move freely between the USL and Major League Soccer teams in compliance with MLS roster guidelines, according to a statement released by the club.
