Orlando City keeper Mason Stajduhar underwent knee surgery for a left meniscus tear, the club announced Sunday morning.
The 23-year-old homegrown served as the primary backup for the Lions in the absence of Pedro Gallese, who is currently leading Peru in the South American World Cup qualifiers.
A product of the Lions academy, Stajduhar made his MLS debut against Atlanta United on July 30 after nearly six years with the club. The keeper recorded 10 saves and one clean sheet in five matches this season, ceding five goals without dropping a loss.
Before 2021, he logged minutes on loan for Orlando City B, Louisville City and the Tulsa Roughnecks after signing with the club in 2015.
