Injured players slowly are starting to rejoin Orlando City this week.
Carlos Rivas (ankle) missed the first two games of the season but should be available for Friday’s 7 p.m. match at NYCFC. David Mateos (hamstring) and Bryan Róchez (thigh) both worked out with the team Monday for the first time since their injuries, and team captain Kaká (thigh) is expected to work outside tomorrow for the first time in nearly two weeks.
“It’s been a huge blow,” Orlando City coach Adrian Heath said of the injuries. “We worked all preseason with Kaká and then he’s gone, so getting everybody fit and healthy will help us.
