Orlando City is working to sign AC Milan midfielder Antonio Nocerino, according to sources, but could face hurdles in getting the deal done.
Multiple reports in Italy have linked Nocerino to Orlando City, and Kaká’s former teammate could indeed end up in Central Florida, the sources confirmed. With the European transfer window closing today, Orlando City continues to pursue Nocerino, though the window may not have an impact on whether the deal gets done.
Nocerino may be able to work out a deal to mutually terminate or buyout his contract with Milan, where he has fallen out of favor, which would extend the timeline for finalizing a move to MLS.
