BALTIMORE -- Orlando City has filled out its first-team coaching staff.
The club announced it has hired Bobby Murphy as an assistant coach and technical coordinator for the Orlando City academy. Murphy joins the Lions from St. Stephen's Episcopal School in Houston.
Murphy was director at St. Stephen's, one of four residential academies in the country, for the last 13 years. He holds USSF "A" and "National Youth" coaching licenses, and is a U.S. youth soccer national instructor.
"I am pleased to say that we have been able to agree to terms with Bobby Murphy to join the MLS coaching team and our Academy,” Orlando City president Phil Rawlins said in a statement.
