Orlando City midfielder and forward Pedro Ribeiro is not training with the team due to a back injury.
The 25-year-old Brazilian will undergo an MRI this week to determine the type of injury and its severity. Details on how long it will take for him to recover will be known after the MRI, according to Orlando City coach Adrian Heath.
Teammates wished Ribeiro a speedy recovery on social media, including defender David Mateos, who commented, "Waiting for you to return," on a photo posted to Ribeiro's Instagram account.
Ribeiro, typically used as a forward by the Lions, played in the first three games of the season.
