Orlando City, coach Oscar Pareja and captain Nani received unspecified fines for behavior following the captain’s red card in Wednesday’s game against Columbus.
Pareja and the club earned fines for the team’s second mass confrontation violation this season, which occurred when players and coaches rushed officials while arguing against the red card. Nani was also fined an unspecified amount for failure to leave the field in a timely manner following the card.
He is slated to serve a one-game suspension Sunday after a tackle during the 52nd minute of Wednesday’s match against the Crew was deemed a serious foul play.
