Orlando City suffered a 1-0 loss to the Montreal Impact Sunday, eliminating the Lions from contention for a spot in the MLS playoffs.
The Lions dominated possession and worked to create numerous scoring opportunities, but every header, shot and deflection never bounced Orlando City's way.
Montreal goalkeeper Evan Bush unquestionably played a big role in Orlando City's frustration, delivering five saves to maintain a clean sheet for the Impact. Bush's strongest stop was a deflection of what looked like a sure Cyle Larin goal.
The Lions' defense limited the dangerous Montreal attack, but Ignacio Piatti started a run that ended with speedy Dominic Oduro carving up the middle of the Orlando City's defense and putting away the Impact's game winner in the 56th minute.
