PORTLAND, Ore. (July 18, 2019) - Orlando City SC (7-9-5, 26 points) battled to a 1-1 draw against the Portland Timbers (7-8-4, 24 points) on Thursday evening at Providence Park. With the draw, the Lions have now earned three-consecutive results on the road following a 2-2 draw at Philadelphia on July 6 and a 2-0 victory over Columbus at MAPFRE Stadium on June 29.
Santiago Patiño found the back of the net for the Lions in the match, scoring his second goal of 2019 in the 44th minute. Both of Patiño’s goals this season have come in City’s last three matches, with the Orlando native scoring his first professional goal against the Philadelphia Union on July 6.
