Orlando City disappointed with corner kicks in season opener

Orlando City took 12 corner kicks in the season opener against Real Salt Lake and converted none into goals.

It was a disappointment after working hard in the offseason on set pieces and closing out the preseason with a 4-1 win over Brazil’s Bahia, with all four goals scored by Seb Hines on set pieces (three corners and a free kick).

One of the differences between that preseason match and the opener was that Kaká did not deliver the corner kicks. Defender Luke Boden took most in place of the injured Brazilian midfielder.
