Victor “PC” Giro arrived in Orlando excited to be part of a Major League Soccer team.
Orlando City Soccer Club signed him in January from the second-tier Fort Lauderdale Strikers of the North American Soccer League.
Not everyone was as excited to see him, however.
“When he came here, first day, that’s the first thing I remembered about him and I told him I just wanted to punch him,” Lions right back Rafael Ramos said, twisting his mouth into a smile.
What he remembered was PC scoring a last-second goal against the Lions, knocking them out of last year’s Lamar Hunt U.
