Orlando City Defeated By New England on the Road

FOXBORO, Mass. (July 27, 2019) - Orlando City SC (7-11-5, 26 points) dropped a 4-1 decision on the road on Saturday night, falling to the New England Revolution (9-8-6, 33 points) at Gillette Stadium.

The home side held the lead throughout, with Tesho Akindele scoring his seventh goal of the season to end the Revolution’s shutout bid in the 77th minute.

Head Coach James O’Connor:
“I think the biggest thing is we needed to start both halves way better than we did. After two or three minutes in the first half we’re a goal down, to start the second half we needed to start sharper.
