Thirty seconds, to be exact. The captain entered against FC Cincinnati in the 55th minute, inheriting a one-goal deficit after the Lions ceded at the end of the first half.
Nani used his first touches of the match to produce the ruthless creativity that’s defined his play throughout the 2021 season. The winger took two touches off a pass to fly into the box before smashing a left-footed shot into the far corner of the Cincinnati net, burying the equalizer to revitalize the Lions’ chances at TQL Stadium.
