The United Soccer League announced Tuesday that Orlando City B right back Tyler Turner has been named the league’s player of the week after the Orlando City SC loanee was instrumental in Friday’s 2-1 win against the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.

He scored both goals for the Lions, just his second and third career goals since signing with the team. Turner’s first goal came after a brilliant run to beat three defenders and slot home across the face of the goal. His second came after a he peeled off his defender and touched home a driven Hadji Barry cross.
