Soccer analysts have suggested Orlando City attackers Daryl Dike and Chris Mueller should be considered for call-ups to the U.S. men’s national team ever since their strong play in the MLS is Back Tournament.
Lions fans will have to wait a little longer, however, to see if U.S. coach Gregg Berhalter will call either player up to the national team roster, which has been invigorated by a new wave of young talent.
The U.S. men’s national team called up 24 players for a November camp in Europe on Tuesday. However, Berhalter opted to only select non-MLS players for both the camp and upcoming friendlies against Wales and Panama.
