The Miami Dolphins have what they hope is their new franchise quarterback in Tua Tagovailoa, and the expectations could not be higher for the team’s top pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
The weight of the Dolphins’ rebuilding process and future — orchestrated by coach Brian Flores and general manager Chris Grier — rests on the hip, left shoulder, talent and charisma of Tagovailoa.
“I think the best way to handle it is really not pay attention to it — if that makes sense. Not being someone who just says, ‘Oh I don’t like it, I don’t care about it,’ ” Tagovailoa said.
