Olympia High junior Aaron Leach shot stellar rounds of 69 and 67 for a 36-hole total of 136 to win his team’s two-day Titan Invitational boys golf tournament last weekend.
He was followed by Lake Mary juniors Jackson Snedaker and Garret Ebbert, who both turned in 72-66—138 scores at The Conservatory at Hammock Beach in Palm Coast.
Ponte Vedra, a two-time defending state champ, produced a 280-284—564 total to win the team title ahead of Windermere (288-280-568) and Lake Mary (293-279=572), which went on a tear in Saturday’s second round. Winter Park was seventh at 298-300-598.
Snedaker, a junior, continued his strong play on Monday as he led a 1-2-3 sweep of the individual honors by the Rams in the Winter Springs Invitational tournament at Tuscawilla Country Club.
