Ohio coaches were the key for former Orlando Olympia and current Wekiva wide receiver Isaiah Davis, who committed to the Bobcats this past weekend.
“It was because out of all the coaches who really contacted me the most, it had to be Ohio for me,” Davis said. “I had teammates that went there — Shane Hooks and Marlon Washington.
Not only was Davis (6-foot-4, 190 pounds) excited to make his commitment, but Ohio coaches were equally excited to hear the news. His main recruiter from the Bobcats’ staff has been former Florida and New Smyrna Beach standout Dwayne Dixon, who is Ohio’s receivers coach and has been on head coach Frank Solich’s staff for 13 years.
