Orange County’s first bi-weekly round of COVID-19 testing for public school football programs gave 18 of the 19 teams tested a clean bill of health and the green light to play games.
In a memo sent to parents late Thursday afternoon OCPS said 1,403 tests were administered with only five confirmed positve cases of COVID-19. That is a .0035% positivity rate. The district said testing was an effort to protect all of its high school students.
