No. 1 ranked Orlando Christian Prep won a game for the ages on Saturday night, rallying from 15 points down to score a 62-59 win against Windermere in a classic that will long be remembered for the Warriors’ gutsy comeback and a disputed technical foul that turned the tide.
OCP (13-0) was on the brink of defeat after Kanye Jones stole the ball and dunked to give the area Wolverines a 59-51 lead with 2:01 to go. Windermere (10-4), which made 14 three-point shots in the loss, went scoreless the rest of the way.
The Warriors sliced the gap to four points on a steal and basket by Ven-Allen Lubin with 44 seconds remaining, then took the lead on what turned out to be a five-point possession.
