Player of the game Omar Figueroa scored 10 of his game-high 21 points in the first quarter, and top-ranked Orlando Christian Prep used a constantly shifting defense to stifle Apopka in a 52-33 boys basketball victory on Saturday in the Kalyn High Master’s Classic.
“It’s all about teamwork,” Figueroa said. “It all starts with defense. We gotta focus. We can’t let this game get ahead of ourselves.”
