Oak Ridge, the top-ranked team in Class 7A, overpowered visiting Kissimmee Osceola on both ends of the floor and rolled to an 81-44 running clock rout at home in a Region 2 boys basketball quarterfinal on Thursday.
The imposing Pioneers (21-2) collected 13 offensive rebounds in the first 19 minutes of play and turned those second chances into 21 points as their tough trio of 6-foot-6 seniors dominated down low.
Jeremiah Bannister, a burly forward, went 10-for-10 from the foul line and totaled 20 points in the victory. Roddrick Henry, another muscular power forward, added 15 points and blocked 2 shots in the victory.
