The National Women’s Soccer League is continuing preparations for its coming eighth season, and Monday released its preliminary list of players eligible for the 2020 College Draft. Almost 100 collegiate players are part of the first group of draft-eligible players.
Notable names on the preliminary list include Tziarra King, a midfielder from North Carolina State University; Amanda McGlynn, a goalkeeper from Virgina Tech; and Courtney Petersen, a defender from the University of Virginia. The list is mostly made up of domestic players, though players from Germany, England, Canada, Hungary and Poland also made the list.
The list may grow, as all eligible players have until Jan.
