It didn’t take long for Danny White to turn from the beloved golden boy of UCF athletics to the black-hatted, program-raiding villain of Knight Nation.
First, without warning, he shocked everyone by accepting the job as the new Tennessee athletics director six days ago.
Then, on Wednesday, we found out White hired away UCF football coach Josh Heupel to join him on Rocky Top, leaving the Knights’ athletic program scrambling now to simultaneously search for a new AD and new football coach.
And while you’re at it, maybe you can change the name of Neyland Stadium to the Bounce House!
