NFL free agency got off to a whirlwind start Monday with some major moves and big-time contract signings around the league.
Two of the biggest winners on the opening day of the NFL meat market were a pair of former Orlando-area high school stars.
Apopka product Trey Hendrickson, who played at FAU before moving on to the Saints, signed a four-year, $60 million deal with the Bengals, while former Dr. Phillips standout Matt Milano, who played at Boston College, agreed to a four-year, $44 million extension to remain a member of the Buffalo Bills.
Hendrickson (6-foot-4, 270 pounds) had an impressive season at defensive end for the Saints.
