NFL teams will be permitted to return to team facilities Friday, and the Miami Dolphins’ coaching staff plans to return to the team’s Davie facility months after it was shut down because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The directive came from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who allowed teams to open up their facility in mid-May to some personnel, as long as they kept attendance to no more than 50 percent of the team’s employees. No coaches were allowed to return, and only players receiving medical treatment or rehabilitating injuries have been permitted in team facilities.
“I know the NFL is working hard on all those issues, and the first priority is to keep everybody safe.
