Winter Park is gaining a pair of seniors for the 2020 football season. Quarterback Jake Ritts out of Buffalo (N.Y.) St. Francis High and safety Riley Simpson of Buffalo Canisius High are both already enrolled at Winter Park.
Wildcats offensive coordinator Steven Moffet confirmed Simpson, who is the son of Buffalo University co-defensive coordinator Chris Simpson, practiced for the first time Wednesday. Ritts has yet to practice with the team.
Winter Park, which started the season 1-1, plays at home against Oviedo Friday night. Moffett said the New York transfers should see action during Winter Park’s next game, Oct.
