Dwayne Bacon said Tuesday he’s recently played every back-court role the Magic have asked of him. The former FSU star even played point guard in a limited role during Sunday’s loss at Phoenix.
The injury-laden Magic were down to one point guard available for the Phoenix game, so Bacon adapted when needed.
“I think I’ve taken on the challenge of trying to step up,” said Bacon, who averaged 15 points during the past five games. “I just go out and play and do what I can to help the team try to get wins. ... I’ve had an extended role to play a lot more minutes and I kind of embraced it.
