New England Revolution II signed midfielder Mayele Malango, forward Conor Presley and defenders Collin Verfurth and Nick Woodruff to its inaugural roster, the club announced Tuesday morning.
The four players represent the first signings for the New England Revolution’s USL League One side, which kicks off its first season in March.
“Welcoming these four talented players as the first Revolution II signings marks an exciting milestone for the club as we continue to enhance the development pathway in New England,” Revolution technical director Curt Onalfo said in a prepared statement. “Identifying and securing promising young players is one key part of our multifaceted approach to constructing the second team roster, and we look forward to making more additions in the weeks to come.
