For the North Carolina Courage, their season-opening match in 2020 will be a rematch of the 2019 National Women’s Soccer League Championship game.
The NWSL announced home openers for each team in the league Wednesday, and have revealed that the Courage will host the Chicago Red Stars on April 18 at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, N.C. The time of the match will be unveiled at a later date and tickets for the contest will go on-sale March 9.
To end the 2019 NWSL season, the Courage defeated the Red Stars 4-0 at WakeMed Soccer Park for their second straight championship.
