NBA star Steph Curry showed off a brand new Orlando City jersey in the locker room of the Golden State Warriors this week.
The three-time NBA champion received the jersey as a gift from Warriors player-mentor coach and former longtime teammate Leandro Barbosa.
Barbosa played for the Warriors from 2014-16, returning to the franchise to assist the coaching staff in September 2020. Nicknamed “The Brazilian Blur,” he represented Brazil at the national level for nearly a decade.
NBA and MLS players have a long history of showing support for one another, with high-profile players, such as the late Kobe Bryant, partnering with soccer counterparts and attending matches.
