After meeting Wednesday night and again Thursday morning, players reached the decision to continue playing, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.
The league and players are aiming to restart on Friday, according to Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic. If not, the expectation is that the playoffs would resume sometime over the weekend, Wojnarowski reported. The three playoff games scheduled for Thursday have been postponed, according to Tim Reynolds of the Associated Press.
One scenario being considered would simply push games back one day, playing Wednesday’s games on Friday and Thursday’s game on Saturday, according to Reynolds.
