A former USL Championship Golden Boot winner is returning to Louisville City FC.
MLS side Nashville SC announced Thursday that it is loaning striker Cameron Lancaster to Louisville for the 2020 season. Lancaster, 27, played in Louisville for four seasons, helping the club win a pair of USL titles and claiming the league’s scoring title in 2018.
“Adding Cam to our roster for the 2020 season is instrumental to what we are trying to do in Louisville,” Louisville City sporting director John Hackworth said in a statement. “Cam was a big part of our club’s USL Championship titles, and we look forward to him helping us pursue our third star.
