Four major college basketball signees from Central Florida received first team All-State honors for Class 7A and independent schools as selected by SourceHoops.com and the Florida Association of Basketball Coaches.
The Independents first team included Kansas State signee Selton Miguel of Orlando’s West Oaks Academy and three senior standouts from Montverde Academy’s 25-0 national No. 1 squad: Scottie Barnes (FSU), Cade Cunningham (Oklahoma State), Day’Ron Sharpe (North Carolina).
Other area players who earned 7A All-State slots were Apopka senior Zach Anderson, Windermere High junior Trey Moss, and the senior guard tandem of O’Shae Baker and Ladarron Cleveland of state runner-up Seminole.
