The Montreal Impact have acquired right back Zachary Brault-Guillard on a permanent transfer from Lyon. The Canadian international will now remain in Montreal after spending the 2019 season there on loan.
“We are glad to have completed the transfer of Zachary Brault-Guillard,” sporting director Olivier Renard said in a statement released by the club Saturday. “He is a promising young Canadian that showed his qualities last season, and we are happy to have him with us for many years.”
Brault-Guillard agreed to a two-year deal with options for the 2022 and 2023 seasons.
During his time on loan, the defender fought for playing time with former France international Bacary Sagna.
