Mo Bamba may not be on the Orlando Magic’s NBA Summer League roster, but the 7-foot center took part in the team’s first practice Thursday night as the it began its tourney prep.
The Magic will play five games in a round-robin format, tipping things off Monday night against Golden State at UNLV’s Thomas & Mack Center, and Bamba was on hand to work on his game.
“It’s great. I think it continues to show his growth, his desire to just be great, his desire to wanna get better,” first-year head coach Jamahl Mosley said of Bamba, who will not play in summer-league games.
