MLS is considering a one-game suspension of Orlando City midfielder Antonio Nocerino, sources told the Orlando Sentinel.
The possible suspension would be for stepping onto the field during celebration of teammate Kevin Molino's goal in the final minutes of the Lions 2-2 draw against New England on Sunday.
Orlando City is disputing the potential suspension and working with the league on a resolution.
A spokesman for MLS said the league can not confirm any disciplinary decisions ahead of the committee's weekly release, which typically happens on Thursdays.
The Lions signed Nocerino in early March.
