Major League Soccer announced Friday the pools of players who will be available through free agency, the league’s re-entry draft and end-of-season waivers.
MLS’ deadline for teams to exercise contract options for the 2020 season was Thursday at 1 p.m.
Players eligible for free agency are out of contract, at least 28 years old and have played at least eight seasons in the league.
The re-entry pool consists of players who are at least 23 years old, have played at least three years in MLS and whose contract options were not exercised by their clubs. These players will be available at their option salaries for 2019.
