MLB’s ‘Field of Dreams’ game reportedly is still on for Aug. 13. But it might not be the Chicago White Sox vs. the New York Yankees.

The status for the “MLB at Field of Dreams” game hasn’t changed, according to a report from MLB Network’s Jon Morosi.

The Chicago White Sox originally were scheduled to play the New York Yankees Aug. 13 on the Dyersville, Iowa, farm where the Oscar nominated film “Field of Dreams” took place.

The new 2020 schedule has not been released, but it will feature 60 games, 40 against division foes and 20 interleague games against the corresponding geographical division (East vs. East, Central vs. Central, West vs. West). That seemingly would set up a different matchup for the “Field of Dreams” game since the Sox are in the American League Central and the Yankees are in the AL East.
