Vlatko Andonovski’s longtime assistant coach Milan Ivanovic will join him with the United States women’s national team. U.S. Soccer named Ivanovic as an assistant for the World Cup winners Monday.
Ivanovic has been working with Andonovski since 2015, when the two coached FC Kansas City to the National Women’s Soccer League championship. They have worked together since, including during Andonovski’s two-year stint at Reign FC before he took the U.S. job. Ivanovic previously played for Andonovski as a member of the Major Indoor Soccer League’s Kansas City Comets.
“He truly loves the game and is a tireless worker in his preparation for trainings, for matches and in scouting opponents,” Andonovski said of Ivanovic in a statement issued by U.
